We are a CIC (Community Interest Company) that aims to reduce the impact imprisonment has on the children of offenders in custody at HMP Lewes. We provide emotional and practical support to prisoners through challenging child related processes. We help connect with external services including family solicitors, social workers and letterbox agencies. We offer support, help, information and advice, as well as resources to assist fathers with communication, play, and developing relationships with their children. Prison Family Support aims to support positive father-child contact and strengthen family relationships, bonding and trust. Developing connections between fathers and their children is vital for a child's well-being and has the potential to reduce the level of re-offending. Our Mission Our mission is to work towards improving the lives of the children affected by parental imprisonment though education, advice and support.
